fold me a river

i love birds. i think i get that from my mother who has lately built a bird feeder empire in the backyard, although my obsession comes in a more ornamental form. What about having hundred of white paper birds hanging above the bride and grooms table? i don't have any folding talent but i like the idea.

yummies

what the what? cotton candy? i am a cotton candy addict, even though when i eat the whole thing it gives me a tummy ache. I guess there's pros and cons to having cotton candy. no one wants a tummy ache on their wedding day but i'm still leaning towards yes.

i'm in love

i need to have one of these.

You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.

Following the theme of making sure our guests have a wonderful time, how fantastic is this idea of projecting old movies outside for guest who want to relax a little?

I love the idea of having games for your guests. It keeps things casual and fun. How amazing would it be to play croquet at a wedding? I'm picturing something a little Alice & Wonderland. Horseshoes? I'm terrible at that but still... awesome. And what's a wishing tree? i like it.

Love

I heart photo booths. your guest would have so much fun + you get all these cools photos to take home. The professional ones are expensive, but what's to stop you from just setting up a camera and a tripod? A homemade background and some props, voila!

tough

Sparklers or flags?

Ohh la la

What about having love poems and love quotes framed and scattered throughout the reception? I love these frames.

Something like this...

There are days we live
as if death were nowhere
in the background; from joy
to joy to joy, from wing to wing,
from blossom to blossom to
impossible blossom, to sweet impossible blossom.
- Li-Young Lee

Right?

Barns

I've been really thinking about holding the reception in a barn. Aren't these gorgeous?

How gorgeous would your wedding photos be? Come on!
